| On a cold and bleak Saturday morning, in a very wintry place, a group of fine ladies ventured out to extend their Christmas spirit to the shoppers of Stockport in the precinct.
Crystal Chords is a fantastic singing group, spreading their enthusiasm in a warm, energetic and witty style. They braved the shockingly cold wind to sing their hearts out to fundraise for us and was appreciated by many and brought a smile to many a face that was passing by. The ladies raised a staggering amount of £311.41p which is a very welcome addition to the pot. It was lovely to listen to the ladies who sang a large variety of songs and carols to entertain their audience. Our heartfelt thanks and best wishes go to the entire ladies choir for their extensive charitable works.
