Making the Most of the Grounds and Garden
There is considerable scope to make the grounds a better environment
for our visitors and we are looking at an environmentally friendly and
sustainable approach to the 3.5 acres of ground. Can you help with any
of the following?

New stone walls and brick paths.

Improving the lawn, the surrounding grounds, play areas
and a hedge for the boundary.

Providing a woodland path and seating area by the stream.
-
Building 'hides' using reclaimed wood to enjoy the
wildlife.

Moving, repairing and building some external storage
facilities.
Keeping the Building Looking Good
Making the Most of the Accommodation
Improving the Equipment and Keeping it Well Maintained

Garden furniture repair and improvement.

Maintaining the bicycles, outside play toys and outside
play furniture.
Friends of Mellor Country House
We are establishing a group of local people to help
in the day to day maintenance of the house, grounds and equipment.
